SkyBonus Again Waives Program Minimums and Extends 2021 Expiring Points

Effective immediately, Delta is waiving the 2021 minimum requirement for active accounts to qualify for 2022 SkyBonus program participation ($5,000 USD spend).

If your company is currently active in SkyBonus, meaning your company met or exceeded the above stated minimum in the 2019 calendar year, you will remain active through December 31, 2022, regardless of your company spend in 2021.

As always, newly enrolled companies are not subject to spend requirements for the first year of membership, and Delta is extending this for an additional year for new customers that signed up in 2019 or 2020.  Companies that signed up for SkyBonus in 2019, 2020 or 2021 will remain active until December 31, 2022.

In addition to waiving 2021 program eligibility requirements, Delta is also taking additional steps to provide flexibility and ensure that SkyBonus customers are able to redeem SkyBonus points and awards, including:

  • Extending expiring SkyBonus points for an additional 12 months. All points scheduled to expire at the end of 2021 will be extended to expire on December 31, 2022
  • Extending SkyBonus travel award certificates with a June to December 2020 or any 2021 expiration date, to a December 31, 2022 expiration date to allow more time for employees to use them
  • Extending 2021 SkyBonus Elite status for an additional year through December 31, 2022, to give customers more time to enjoy the Elite benefits that they earned
